This could be the most personal blog I will write because I know and experience that the more significant the change, the more extreme the resistance will be. And change creates uncertainty. People often feel uncomfortable with change and will do everything possible to resist it.

Whatever business you’re in, as an entrepreneur, change is something you must just deal with. No matter what field you’re in or what product or service you offer, there’s bound to be some change happening around you and to you. That said, the quote from Mahatma Gandhi is always my reminder that we live in an ever-changing world. And we must be flexible enough to adjust and adapt to change. To share more about my favorite quote, read more.

What’s the story behind discovering the quote you love?

The saying “Be the change you wish to see in the world” has been attributed to Mahatma Gandhi. However, I’m sure other historical figures have said similar things. Its sentiment has inspired millions of people toward various positive actions.

I was browsing through the bookshelves in one of the bookstores where I often go to find new reads. Most of the time, if I don’t see a title that catches my attention, I pass by without stopping to look at it. However, this time, I couldn’t help but stop and glance at a book with a quote that struck me. Mahatma Gandhi’s quote, “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” There was something about it that captured my attention. I had to keep reading it repeatedly until I figured out what that special something was.

Who said it and why?

Mahatma Gandhi wrote, “Be the change you wish to see in the world,” as a part of his belief in non-violence, which led him to launch a resistance movement against British rule in India.

Gandhi began his career as a lawyer and political activist in South Asia, where he was born and raised. He practiced law for several years before returning to India in 1915.

Gandhi believed that the only way we can make a difference in the world is by being peaceful and loving ourselves first. From there, we can love others and help them in their spiritual journey. We must also be truthful to ourselves and be aware of our flaws. By doing this, we can hope to set an example for others—it’s easier for us to change if we see others making similar changes, which is why all of us need to show our commitment to one another by trying these things in our own lives.

What do you think it means?

I interpret this quote to mean that you can’t expect the world to change if you don’t change yourself first. We have to start with ourselves to make a difference in this world. The important thing is not to stop questioning. I believe we should constantly be questioning our actions and beliefs because by doing so, we can ensure we’re doing what’s right and not causing harm to anyone else.

This quote is significant to me because I’ve always been a person who loves learning new things and finding out more about myself. I’ve also been someone who tries my best not to judge other people too harshly. As much as it would be convenient for me not to do that, it’s just not right, and it causes more harm than good in the long run.

How do you apply it to your business?

The quote “Be the change you wish to see in the world” by Mahatma Gandhi sums up perfectly how any business, big or small, can go about being socially responsible. Like Gandhi’s ideas, businesses should strive to make the world a better place, one way or another. So how do we do that? The methods may vary from company to company. There are so many ways to improve your business’s social responsibility efforts that it is impossible to name them all.

Although some of the ways will seem obvious and without a doubt, you would think all companies out there employ them already, unfortunately, this is not the case.

In my case, I have been applying this in my business for years. It applies to my business by being honest and transparent with my clients. I let them know they are not just another dollar sign but a human being who needs help solving their problem.

I am not just trying to sell them a website or marketing plan but rather help them grow their business and brand.

So how can you apply this quote to your business?

1) Be honest with your customers and prospects

2) Don’t sell them something that they don’t need or want

3) Put yourself in their shoes: what would you do if you were them?

What important lessons from it can you share with your readers?

In a world full of hate, greed, and prejudice, it is essential to be an example of love, compassion, and equality. I think that being a positive person is the most important thing we can do in life. The quote above reminds me to always strive to be kind and treat others with respect.

I want to ensure that I do my part in making this world a better place for everyone by being kind, compassionate, and generous with my time and money. It is easy to get caught up in our lives and forget those around us struggling or suffering from illness or disease. We need to keep these things in mind to ensure we live our lives in a way that will benefit others and ourselves.

Be the change (conclusion)

Creating personal change is often arduous, but it can be done. Consistency, patience, and tenacity are vital to change your life significantly. If you continue to work at it over time, the payoff will be well worth the effort.

Changing the world isn’t easy, but it’s certainly something that we can all do. We must first figure out what our internal change is and then act on it. Want more blogs like this? Visit us today!
