What is website backup?

This information is useful when restoring files since it tells us whether or not they have changed since their last backup. If any changes have been made since the previous backup, these will be included in the next one; otherwise, we will save space storing duplicate copies of unchanged files!

What might happen if you don’t have a backup system?

Suppose you have a backup system in place. In that case, you could retain all your content, images, and other information if something goes wrong with your site. This could be anything from a technical problem with your hosting provider or web server to a hacker gaining access to your site.

If this happens, then it will take time to replace all of the data that has been lost. In some cases, this could even mean rebuilding an entire site from scratch (which can take weeks).
