Review Requests for WooCommerce

Ask every customer for a review. Never ask the same one twice.

What it does

Most stores never ask for reviews, and the ones that do usually ask badly: the same customer gets pestered about a product they already reviewed, or gets an email about an order that was refunded a fortnight ago. Review Requests for WooCommerce fixes the asking. It waits a configurable period after an order, checks what the customer has actually reviewed, and emails them only about the products still outstanding. A second email follows up for a Google Business Profile review — the one that shows up when someone searches for your business. Every decision is re-checked at the moment of sending, not when the email was queued, so a refund, an unsubscribe, or a review left in the meantime all stop it.

Built to ask well, and to know when not to

Never asks the same customer twice

Before every send, the plugin checks which products that customer has genuinely reviewed — including reviews left as a guest, and reviews still waiting in your moderation queue. Anything already reviewed is dropped from the email. If there is nothing left to ask about, no email goes out at all.

Product reviews, then Google reviews

The first email asks customers to review what they bought, with a direct link to each product's review form. A second follows up asking for a Google Business Profile review — with a cooldown so a repeat customer is not asked every single month.

Looks like the rest of your store's email

Both emails use your existing WooCommerce email design — your header image, your colours, your footer. They appear in WooCommerce settings alongside the native emails, so the subject and wording are editable without touching code.

Every decision is on the record

Each order shows when a request was scheduled, when it was sent, or why it was skipped. "Why didn't this customer get an email?" is a question you can answer yourself, in seconds, without calling a developer.

How it works

01

Order completes

When an order reaches the status you choose — usually Completed — a review request is queued. Nothing is sent yet.

02

The wait

Three weeks by default, so the customer has actually used what they bought. Adjustable to whatever suits your products.

03

The check

At the moment of sending, the plugin re-checks everything: is the order still valid, has it been refunded, has the customer unsubscribed, and what have they already reviewed?

04

The ask

One email listing the products still worth reviewing, then a follow-up a week later asking for a Google review.
